Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales and actress Rabiya Mateo unfollowed each other on Instagram and this garnered speculations about the status of their relationship.
Jeric and Rabiya’s relationship has gone through challenges before. It was rumored that they broke up. However, in a just a short time, rumors circulated that they reconciled and their relationship got a second chance. Previously, the actress said that she did not regret giving the actor a second chance.
Indeed, their sweetness on social media became more evident. They even shared their monthsary date last year. Jeric said in an interview last year that he can say that Rabiya is “the one.”
However, just recently, it was noticed by the online community that Jeric Gonzales and Rabiya Mateo unfollowed each other on Instagram, based on the article in PEP. Because of this, it was speculated that their relationship is going through a challenge once again.
It was also noticed that Rabiya did not share any birthday post for Jeric last August 7. PEP entertainment writer Gorgy Rula shared that as what they heard, Jeric and Rabiya are no longer together.
In an interview, Jeric had a vague answer when asked about him and Rabiya. When the actor was asked if the actress had a birthday gift for him, he simply said that for now, nothing because they are busy, but the support is there.
Then, he was asked if he and Rabiya decided to make their relationship private, Jeric’s answer was “Right now wala pa, e, cause focus pa ako sa work ko and siya rin. Happy lang ako sa mga nangyayari ngayon and sa kanya-kanyang career namin.”
However, when asked directly if he and Rabiya are still a couple, Jeric said, “Happy and, yes, nagsusuportahan kami.” The actor wanted to talk more about his current TV series Widow’s War with Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana.
