Angelica Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s Mother, Posts Family’s Food-Sharing Activity
CARLOS YULO’S MOTHER – Angelica Yulo thanked her son, Eldrew, and daughters Joriel and Yza for sharing their blessings to other people.
Caloy brought so much pride and honor to the Philippines through his double gold win in the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, France. He won gold in men’s floor exercise first and bagged another gold in the vault event.
Carlos Yulo is the first Filipino athlete to win a double gold medal for the Philippines. He is also the first male athlete to win an Olympic gold medal for the country.
Together with the bronze medal wins of Pinay boxers Neshty Petecio and Aira Villegas, the double gold win of Caloy resulted to the country’s best Olympics performance so far. It finished the sports event as the best-performing Southeast Asian country in the Olympics.
The fame of Carlos Yulo following his double gold win in the 2024 Olympics also unveiled his family situations. He is the second child of Mark Andrew and Angelica Yulo. He has an elder sister, Joriel, and a younger brother and sister, Karl Eldrew and Yza.
Eldrew and Yza are also gymnasts. The Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) is looking forward to having both Carlos and Eldrew in the 2028 Olympics. Caloy is also hoping to compete with his younger siblings.
However, amid the public being left in awe by the brilliance of Caloy and his siblings in gymnastics, it was also exposed that the Olympic double gold medalist and Angelica Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s mother, are not in fully good terms.
Money matters and her alleged disapproval of his girlfriend reportedly played factors in the rift between Carlos Yulo’s mother and the Olympic double gold medalist. Angelica admitted to blocking Carlos on Messenger and unfriending him on Facebook that is why she has no recent post about him.
It is still unclear if Angelica Yulo and Carlos Yulo have already talked. Recently, Carlos Yulo’s mother shared a reel on Facebook where she can be heard thanking her other children for their generosity in sharing their blessings to other people.
“Salamat po sa araw na ito, sa mga tumulong magluto at mag-asikaso ngayon, sa mga anak ko na nagbahagi ng kahit papaanung parte incentives nila, kay Yza na binawasan ang nakuha niya sa Palarong Pambansa. Salamat rin kay Eldrew at sa panganay kong si Joriel sa pinaabot niyong tulong para kahit papaanu makatulong tayo sa simpleng paraan,” Angelica said in a reel.
