Yuan’s story is even more touching when learning that he is a bone cancer survivor. Before losing his leg in 2022, Yuan was already an avid cyclist. Now, he dreams of getting a prosthetic leg to help his family.
According to the concerned netizen, Yuan needs to undergo therapy sessions before he can be fitted for a prosthetic leg, which is estimated to cost between P30,000 and P40,000.
As of this writing, over P34,000 in donations has been raised to support him. Additionally, a clinic has offered to provide Yuan with a prosthetic leg for free. The donations collected will now be given to Yuan and his family to use as they see fit.
Hannah also encourages young people to value what they have and to appreciate their health and family. She urged students to work hard in their studies, knowing that their efforts will make their parents proud.
For those who wish to help Yuan further, donations can be sent to the GCash number under the name Hannah Jill Bato, or you can contact Yuan directly on Facebook or through the number +63 991 127 8946.
