Nadia Montenegro shared something about the relationship she had with Baron Geisler’s siblings
Seasoned actress Nadia Montenegro became a trending topic on social media after it was revealed that her youngest daughter Sophia’s father is actor Baron Geisler.
The revelation came first from Baron as he said in an interview that he had a daughter prior to having his daughter with his wife Jamie Evangelista. Although she did not mention any name in that interview, it was easy for netizens to connect this to Nadia and Sophia because years ago, there had been rumors about the actor and the actress.
Nadia did not like Baron’s revelation as she questioned his purpose of confirming the “open secret” in showbiz circles.
In a previous interview, Nadia Montenegro also stressed that Baron Geisler only met Sophia once, although they had been communicating on social media.
The seasoned actress also said that the actor blew up his chance to be a father to their daughter because of his alcohol problem. Amid Nadia’s fiery statement, Baron did not retaliate. Just recently, he greeted his daughter for her 18th birthday through a video he shared online.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Nadia shared that she has been good friends with Baron’s siblings. “I’ve always kept their relationship with them for a good reason. So, I’ve always been good friends with them wala naman kaming mga ano,” the seasoned actress shared.
However, she admitted that it has been a long time since their last conversation because of the pandemic. This is the reason why she was happy to see them during Sophia’s 18th birthday celebration.
The birthday celebration was held at the Celebrity Sports Plaza in Quezon City and some of Baron’s relatives attended. When asked where the actor was, Nadia Montenegro simply answered, “Hindi ko alam sa anak (Sophia) ko.”
