On August 20, the mother of ABS-CBN actress Angelica Panganiban passed away and the reason behind her death has not been disclosed yet. In a post, the actress made the sad announcement by sharing the wake details of her her mother who she fondly calls Mama Ebela when she was still alive.
Angelica’s mother’s death broke many hearts and many celebrities extended their condolences to the grieving actress.

The last post of the actress with her Mama Ebela was after her second wedding with Gregg Homan which was held in Siargao. In her post, she expressed that she knows how happy her mother was that she has finally settled down.
She would often hear from her to take care of Gregg and to be good and what she would often respond as a joke was “maaa, dead na dead yan sakin”. But behind all these teasing, she is giving all the credits to her as she would not be the mother of Bean and wife of Gregg that she is now without her mother’s guidance. Everything she is now was because of her.
Her mother is the very wealth she would always be proud of and her teachings are the same teachings she will pass on to her own family.
She may not be the best daughter but she is thankful for her mother who did not keep her chained and allowed her to do things that would make her stronger.
