Here’s the verdict of TV5 network regarding the alleged assault involving their employees.
TV5 NETWORK – The Kapatid network releases its decision regarding the alleged assault of the manager towards a male talent.
A male talent has went to the program of Raffy Tulfo seeking help after he was abused by News and Public Affairs program manager Cliff Gingco. Tulfo called out TV5 in his program and this kind of allegations has had him in fury as nothing was done yet.
He expressed that he’ll do everything to help the employee, even if it would cost him his job in the company. He added that he will call for a senate hearing for this case if such an offensive incident remained unaddressed.
The incident happened at a hotel and the male talent, who at the same time was a news researcher, was just new in the job. He got so drunk that when the manager did it, he had to energy to fight back despite the refusal he made.
The Kapatid network released an official statement and in the statement, it expressed that the company is aware of the matter and is currently investigating it. They have released the necessary Notice to Explain to gather facts in order to make appropriate action.
Finally, the network have finally come up with a decision. Based on their investigation, they found a solid proof of the incident which also became a ground to terminate the manager. TV5 Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan was glad that Tulfo reached out to him regarding the matter.
Tulfo, on the other hand, was grateful for the actions made that gave the victim the justice he was seeking. The network vowed to support the victim particularly the medical assistance he needs such as therapy and among others.
“Dagdag pa rito, kasong kriminal ang kinahaharap din ngayon ni Gingco sa piskalya, kung saan tumutulong at nakatutok ang RTIA para masiguro na maayos ang pag-usad ng kaso.”
