Korina Sanchez Requests NBI’s Help VS Impersonator Soliciting Fake Donations

Korina Sanchez Seeks Assistance from NBI VS Someone Using Her Name for “Donations”

KORINA SANCHEZ – Veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez turns to the NBI for assistance against an individual using her name to solicit fake donations.

Scammers often use the names of well-known individuals or organizations for fake donations because it helps them build credibility and trust quickly. When people see a recognizable name associated with a cause, they are more likely to believe it is legitimate and feel compelled to contribute.

People are more likely to donate if they believe a reputable person or organization is involved. Using a known name makes the scam seem more legitimate.

Scammers exploit the emotional connection people might have with the individual or cause. If someone admires the person or feels strongly about the cause, they might be more inclined to donate.

A well-known name can attract more attention and donations than an unknown one. Scammers know that using a famous name can help them reach a wider audience.
