It’s no secret that for a time, the family problems of “The Golden Boy” Carlos Yulo overshadowed his victory in the Paris Olympics 2024. However, it did not last long as his big win still prevailed.
During the Grand Heroes’ Parade for Yulo and the other athletes in Manila, many people online we touched to see his father among the crown to support him. Acknowledging his father’s presence, he did a salute for him.

“Wala po akong masabi kundi pasasalamat. Thank you sa pagmamahal na ibinibigay nila sa akin. Hindi ko po alam, ito po yung naging resulta ng pagsusuporta nila. Maraming salamat po,” he said.
In the program, he shared that his family is among his biggest inspirations along with his partner Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose and Cynthia Carrion. On top of all, he is most thankful to the One above for the talent and guidance He has given him. He is guided and he knows that he is never alone. He is blessed all throughout the game.
