Ileiad asked Mon Confiado to withdraw his complaint
Actor Mon Confiado was determined to teach a lesson to content creator Ileiad, real name Jeff Jacinto, for posting a fabricated story about him.
Mon criticized the said netizen for posting a lie on his Facebook Page. Ileiad claimed that he met Mon at a grocery store and asked for a photo with the actor. Allegedly, the actor turned him down rudely. The content creator also claimed that the actor did not pay for the chocolate that he got from the grocery store.
Mon slammed this through his Facebook post. He called out the netizen but Ileiad just edited his post and put a disclaimer without deleting the fabricated story.

With this, Mon Confiado filed a cyber libel complaint against Ileiad or Jeff Jacinto. The actor stressed that this matter is not something to be joked about.
“Dear Mr. Jeff Leanneroie Bonilla Jacinto alias Ileiad, nawa’y maging aral sa iyo ito at sa ating lahat. Na ang paggamit ng pangalan at larawan ng walang pahintulot ay krimen,” the actor stressed.
He also stressed that being a celebrity, they are taking care of their reputation as they have projects and products that they are endorsing. The actor said that this kind of fabricated story will affect their career.

In a report from social media news site Rappler, it was said that Jeff Jacinto asked the actor to withdraw his complaint. Through an email message, the content creator shared that he pleaded with Confiado via an online message not to push through with the case.
Ileiad also said that he sent a letter of apology to Mon and asked him to discourage the hate comments from people. The content creator also said that since this issue surfaced, he has been receiving harassment, death threats, and doxing.
As of this writing, Mon Confiado has not reacted yet to this statement from Jeff Jacinto.
