Chavit Singson will give a cash reward to Carlos Yulo
Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his family are set to receive a P5 million cash reward from former Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson.
Following the success that Carlos achieved as one of the Pinoy athletes who represented that country at the Paris Olympics 2024. Rewards and recognition poured over him. Aside from the cash rewards that the government gave him, there were also several companies who gave him properties and lifetime access to their projects.
Carlos also received a fully furnished condominium unit that is worth P32 million. He received a warm welcome when he arrived from Paris, together with his fellow athletes.
Chavit Singson also announced that he will be giving Carlos Yulo and his family a cash reward worth P5 million. In a press release that he issued, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the prominent political figure intended to give this with the hope of highlighting the unity among the members of the Yulo family, together with Carlos’s partner content creator Chloe San Jose.
“The reward is a recognition for Yulo’s exemplary performance in the Paris Olympics and more so to the unity of the Yulo family and Yulo’s partner,” Singsong said in his statement.
For him, family is the foundation of the success that a person could have. He wants also to give inspiration to others that support is needed for a person to triumph.
To recall, the conflict between Carlos and his mother Angelica Yulo circulated online while the Pinoy gymnast was competing at the Olympics. From that, more controversies surfaced regarding money issues and Carlos’s partner who was being opposed by his mother.
As of this writing, Carlos Yulo has not released a statement yet regarding the cash reward that he will receive from Chavit Singson.
