Content Creator Shares That Homeless Person Treated Him to Snack, Saying, “NILIBRE AKO NG ISANG PULUBI”
A content creator went viral and received online praise after sharing that he was treated to a snack by a homeless person.
Recently, Eryck Paolo, a Facebook user, posted a photo of a homeless person who treated him to a snack. The post went viral and received various reactions from the online community.
In his post, Eryck talked about Ate Membot, a homeless woman who has been a supportive friend since 2015, long before he became a vlogger. Eryck recalled that Ate Membot often hung out at a bakery near where he used to practice dance.
Back then, after a late-night practice session when all the stores were closed, she had shared some leftover bread with him without hesitation. This act of kindness marked the beginning of their friendship.
Over the years, Eryck has made it a point to help Ate Membot whenever he can, providing her with food and support as his own situation improves. Recently, Ate Membot moved to a new spot near a convenience store where they would frequently meet and chat, sometimes during the day and sometimes late at night.
The touching moment came when Eryck was at a local eatery without any spare change. Fortunately, Ate Membot appeared and offered to buy him food and drinks. When Eryck jokingly asked why she was treating him, she simply replied that it was her turn to treat him now.
Eryck expressed his gratitude for her gesture, noting that out of all the people he has helped, Ate Membot’s kindness and her remembering his past help were truly memorable.

“Siya si Ate Membot, ang kaibigan kong pulubi. Solid supporter ko yan at ng aking grupo since 2015 nong hindi pa ako isang content creator. Madalas s’yang tumambay sa isang bakery kung saan malapit dati sa aming pinagpaparactisan ng sayaw.
Si Ate Membot ay hindi madamot, naalala ko pa dati nong 2015, pagkatapos namin magpractice ng madaling araw at gutom na gutom ako non pero sarado na lahat ng tindahan, meron syang naitabing tinapay at di sya nagdalawang isip na ibigay sa’kin yun.
Kaya simula non naging magkaibigan na kami at noong nagkaroon na ako ng sarili kong income ay palagi ko na rin s’yang tinutulongan at binibigyan ng pagkain. Hanggang sa lumipat na s’ya ng pwesto sa isang convenience store. At doon kami madalas magkasabay kumain at magusap, minsan tanghali, minsan madaling-araw.
Hanggang kanina nakatambay ako sa isang kainan at wala akong barya kase buo ang pera ko, buti na lang napadaan sya at bigla akong tinawag. Tinanong ako kung anong gusto kong kainin at inumin. Pabiro kong tinanong sa kanya “Bakit libre mo ate membot? Haha” Tapos sabi nya “Oo, sagot ko na ngayon”.
Sa lahat ng mga natulongan kong tao, isa si Ate Membot na tumatak sakin na hindi nakakalimutang tumanaw ng mabuting naggawa ko.”
