This is following the alleged incident that happened inside a hotel room.

During the hearing, they were represented by their lawyer, Atty. Maggie Garduque. The lawyer submitted joint counter affidavit and it reflected their denial to the accusations. It added that Nones and Cruz’s mental and physical health were affected because of the backlash and judgment they received on social media.

In a previous article, Sandro spoke about the issue and admitted that he was not okay. According to his father Nino Muhlach, the incident negatively impacted his son and it affected both his sleep and eating routine. As a father, he was hurt by what he has heard from his son who was trembling while narrating the story to him.

Speaking to the media, Sandro’s father shared that the Sparkle artist is experiencing depression and going through a psychological evaluation. To recall, in the last hearing, Niño got emotional when he was made to narrate what happened to his son.

“Sir Jojo pa nga tawag ko sa kanya eh. Di ko talaga matanggap na nagawa niya sa anak ko ito… Sobrang sama po talaga ng loob ko kay Jojo Nones,” he said.

On Monday, a second hearing will be held for this case and it is not confirmed yet if the accused will attend.
