Ogie Diaz Reveals Other Actors Allegedly Had Harassment Experiences

Ogie Diaz talked about the recent harassment issue in showbiz

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that other actors allegedly had harassment experiences after the revelation made by Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach.

The harassment issue in showbiz just recently was prompted by the complaint filed by Sandro against GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz. Sandro is one of the new talents of GMA/Sparkle and he is the eldest son of seasoned actor Nino Muhlach.

Following that revelation from Sandro, singer-theater actor Gerald Santos revealed that he also experienced harassment when he was just 15 years old from someone who worked in GMA back then.

This harassment issue was one of the topics that Ogie Diaz discussed in the recent episode of his YouTube showbiz talk show Showbiz Update with his co-hosts Mama Loi and Mrena.

Ogie said that it was Gerald’s story that he shared on his YouTube channel and they are waiting for the statement of the other camp. Mama Loi mentioned that it appeared that it has been a dilemma among harassment victims to reveal what happened to them as Gerald only filed a complaint two years after the incident.

Then, the talent manager-vlogger, who is also known as a popular showbiz insider said that this seemed to be the start of more revelations as more people wanted to speak up. Ogie shared that he talked to someone who shared that a celebrity who is so popular now also went through a harassment experience in the past, just like what happened to Sandro.

After that, Ogie shared that the other actor could no longer file a complaint because he is already dead. “Hindi niya na raw mapagtatanggol ang kaniyang sarili kasi patay na siya,” Ogie said, adding that the other one is no longer that active in showbiz.

He also mentioned that the person he talked to mentioned a lot of names in the entertainment industry. Other than these, Ogie Diaz said that he was “naloka” because of the list. Then, he said that an incident involved a non-showbiz personality but with power. “Pwedeng makapag-lauch ng talent,” he said.
