FLATLINE QUEEN – A Pinay student nurse went viral and faces backlash online for taking a sensitive video in a hospital.
Juilliana Villafuerte, a Filipino content creator and student nurse becomes one of the most discussed personalities online for uploading a video that many found upsetting and inappropriate.
The vlog includes a segment where Villafuerte shows a clip with the text “a patient flatlined.” Although she didn’t reveal the patient’s name or face, many people felt this was still too personal and disrespectful.
In the video, Villafuerte talks about life’s fleeting nature, saying, “The patient’s family members came to the ER weeping and that’s when it hit me, how life is just so short.” However, many netizens were offended by her choice to share this moment.
The video also features Villafuerte crying as she reflects on her job’s difficulties. However, this emotional part is quickly followed by footage of her unboxing packages, which many viewers found insensitive.
The student nurse receives criticism for not following the expected professional standards for a student nurse, earning her the nickname “Flatline Queen.”

Eventually, the content creator apologized on her social media, but the damage was done. The family of the patient hasn’t publicly reacted, but it’s easy to see how painful it must be for them to have such a private moment shared online.
According to reports, a complaint has been filed with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) against Villafuerte for breaking nursing ethics. The complaint came from a concerned citizen who believes it was wrong and unethical for Villafuerte to share sensitive patient information on social media.
As of this writing, the PRC hasn’t announced any actions they will take against Villafuerte. However, this issue highlights the importance of respecting patient privacy and following ethical standards in the healthcare profession.
