In an interview, Carlos Yulo feels overwhelm with the multi-million peso incentives for him.
“The Golden Boy” Carlos Yulo has this to say about the well-deserved incentives waiting for him to come home.
Making a historic win on the men’s floor exercise event of the artistic gymnastics and making Filipinos proud for being the first Pinoy Olympian to have won gold twice is Carlos Yulo.
He was able to clinch his first gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 during the men’s artistic gymnastics floor exercise final held on August 3. The following day, he scored his second gold medal from this prestigious sports events.
The second was during the vault final event. With this double golden feat, the incentives waiting for him also doubled. It ballooned to multi-million worth of cash and properties.

What will he do with all of these, and surely more to come?
For now, he doesn’t know yet what to do with his multi-million peso incentives but he will consult the people he knows and trusts who knowledgeable when it comes to handling things like this.
He will also ask the guidance of Gymnastics Association of the Philippines president Cynthia Carrion. She predicted that he will get two medals and it did happen.
Yulo doesn’t have any solid plans on what to do with everything that awaits him when he comes home but one thing is for sure, he is not wasting anything. He will make sure to make good of everything he’s blessed with. He is going to save and invest as he acknowledges the reality that he is not going to be an athlete forever.
“I’m really grateful po kay Lord talaga,” he quipped.
