Pinoy Pop Superstar champ Gerald Santos Reacts To Sandro Muhlach Issue
GERALD SANTOS – The Pinoy Pop Superstar (2006) Season 2 grand champion reacted to the issue involving Sandro Muhlach and two GMA “contractors”.
Shortly after the rumors were out that Sandro Muhlach, the eldest son of actor-businessman Niño Muhlach, was allegedly taken advantage of by two (2) Kapuso executives, Sandro Muhlach filed a complaint at NBI (National Bureau of Investigation).
Sandro Muhlach is a talent of Sparkle, the talent arm of GMA-7. It was rumored that the incident happened in a hotel after a grand event. The two (2) “GMA contractors” who were allegedly involved were Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.
The Muhlach family expressed the feelings of anger and call for justice amid the rumors circulating on social media. Initially, the GMA Network released a statement saying that they have yet to receive a complaint.
Sandro Muhlach filed a complaint against the GMA “independent contractors” and his family is determined to give justice over what allegedly happened that traumatized the young actor. Niño Muhlach earlier posted a cryptic message saying that he will put to end what the unnamed individuals have started.
Recently, Pinoy Pop Superstar (2006) Season 2 grand champion Gerald Santos reacted to the issue involving Sandro Muhlach. Through a social media post, he expressed his sympathy to the son of Niño Muhlach and he expressed his hope that Sandro will get the justice that he was allegedly denied of.
According to Gerald, a lot of people were messaging him and tagging him in the issue involving Sandro. He stated that he once again felt the pain of his previous experience and he cannot resist tearing up.
Gerald Santos claimed that he was once in the same situation with Sandro Muhlach but he had no voice then as there was no social media. Here’s his post:
In an interview with Pep in October 2012, Gerald Santos was asked about his complaint against a musical director who allegedly took advantage of him. Based on the article, the said musical director was connected to a contest he joined under the GMA-7 network.
Gerald said that it was only an administrative case and he did not intend to file a formal case. Instead, he decided to move on with his career.
“Actually administrative case lang po kasi iyon. So, sa loob lang po inayos… Kumbaga, ang iniisip lang namin nung panahon na yun, kumbaga, move on with my career,” he claimed.
According to Gerald Santos, the said musical director was fired by GMA-7 but the said musical director did not apologize to him. He admitted being angry at the person before but he has let go of the past.
