The investigation for the complaint filed by Sandro Muhlach has started
GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard “Dode” Cruz, the alleged abusers of Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach, are suspended while the investigation is ongoing.
The Kapuso network released a statement that Sandro officially filed a complaint. This is regarding the alleged harassment that he experienced from the aforementioned gay men.
It was alleged that Sandro was invited to Nones and Cruz’s hotel room after the GMA Gala 2024 and allegedly she was drugged and fell asleep.
In a statement from Nones and Cruz’s legal counsel, they said that they are saddened by the accusations they receive on social media from people who have no idea about what happened.
They also asked the public to refrain from making comments and speculations on social media. As the investigation has started, based on the article in PEP, Nones and Cruz are suspended.
Reportedly, Nones was removed as the 2nd unit director of the new Kapuso series Prinsesa ng City Jail. It was also said that he was supposed to be the director of the Magpakailanman episode this Saturday but he was already removed.
On August 1, it was said that many people saw Sandro Muhlach and his father Niño Muhlach go to GMA and seemingly it was the time when they officially filed a written complaint against the two independent contractors of GMA.
PEP columnist Noel Ferrer shared that they asked people close to Sandro how he is now. The sources shared that the 23-year-old actor is a bit fine now because of the support he is receiving.
“Medyo okay na rin naman daw ngayon ang bata. Naramdaman daw niya kasing marami ang dumadamay at sumusuporta sa kanya, kaya kahit paano ay nakakagaan ito sa bigat na nararamdaman niya,” Ferrer shared.
It was also said that Sandro has already finished his first session of counseling initiated by Sparkle and more sessions are coming.
