The Gutierrez family is currently in a deep grief after the loss of Elvis’ wife, Alexandra Joelle or more commonly called “Alexa”. She died after 7 months of battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Alexa was diagnosed of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia shortly after the Gutierrez family returned from their Japan trip. They spent the Christmas and New Year holidays abroad. She went through treatment including chemotherapy.
Alexa and Elvis Gutierrez have two daughters, Aria and Ezra. It was in 2015 when the long-time couple officially tied the knot. She is very close to the Gutierrez family as she has been living with Elvis even when they were only girlfriend and boyfriend.
However, last June 27, Alexa’s battle against leukemia came to an end. Ruffa Gutierrez was heartbroken as she announced the death of her sister-in-law. She admitted that she’s still processing her death and she’s “irreplaceable” in her heart.
