Sandro Muhlach has started his action against his alleged abusers
Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach officially filed a complaint against Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, “independent contractors of GMA” who allegedly harassed him after the GMA Gala 2024.
This issue started from a blind item about a newbie actor who was abused by two gay employees of GMA. Allegedly, the gay men forced him to drink an unspecified substance that made him sleep and the harassment happened.
The blind item was easily connected by netizens to Sandro who posted meaningful posts amid this issue. He received sympathy and support on social media amid this issue.
Sandro Muhlach also got the support from his family. His father, seasoned actor Nino Muhlach shared a fierce cryptic post while his stepmother and other members of their family also shared angry posts.
In an initial statement, GMA Network stressed that they would have a fair investigation once a complaint was filed by Sandro against the “contractors.”
On August 1, Thursday, the Kapiso network released another statement to let the public know that Sandro officially filed a complaint. It also said that upon recognizing how intense this issue was, it already conducted an investigation even before the 23-year-old actor filed a complaint.
GMA also said that it will follow the request from Sandro to make this matter confidential until the investigation is finished. It also assured the public that all stakeholders are committed to “conducting this investigation with the highest standards of fairness and impartiality.”
Sandro Muhlach or Alessandro Martinno Millare Muhlach is the eldest son of Nino Muhlach with his former partner Edith Millare. Before entering the entertainment industry, Sandro had been acting since he was just 13 years old through theater plays. His debut acting project on TV was the series Agimat ng Agila.
