Mark Bautista is happy with what he has done for himself
Singer Mark Bautista said that he feels “malaya” after the revelation he made in his book that was released years ago.
In 2018, the singer released the book Beyond The Mark in which he revealed his true gender orientation. His decision to come out garnered different reactions from people. He received support but also bashing.
Years after he made that revelation, Mark reminisced about his coming out and said that he hoped many people who were in the same situation as him were inspired by his story. However, he chose to be more private when it came to this aspect of his life after his revelation.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Mark Bautista said that he feels so free now. He also said that when the time he came out, he was already to share his gender orientation.
“I am okay with myself and all that. Yeah, I think yung point na yon,” he said. When asked if he feels so free now, he said, “Yeah. Yeah…”Â
The singer said that he was able to surpass that phase in his life and beautiful things have happened to him and he is grateful for these.
Meanwhile, Mark was also asked what had happened to him that he never imagined. He said that it is being in showbiz. The singer shared that he did not dream of entering the entertainment industry.
He said that he joined a singing contest because he wanted to help his family financially. The singer was just aiming for the cash prize. However, the doors of showbiz opened for Mark Bautista and he did not imagine that he would reach his 21st year in the industry. He added that every day he is happy for the blessings that he receives.
