Carla Abellana and Kelley Day met at an event
Widow’s War actress Carla Abellana apologized to beauty queen-actress Kelley Day for being dragged into her breakup issue with her ex-husband actor Tom Rodriguez.
Rumors about Carla and Tom’s breakup started to circulate in the first quarter of 2022. Eventually, it was confirmed that they separated just about five months after their wedding.
Amid the breakup issue, Kelley was accused of being the third party. She and Tom worked together in the Kapuso series The World Between Us featuring Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Kelley immediately denied the rumor linking her to Tom.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Kelley Day shared that she and Carla Abellana were able to meet at a pageant event. Carla was one of the judges while Kelley hosted the event.
Kelley shared that she was the one who said “hi” first to Carla and she told her that she had nothing to do with Tom. “And she just apologized na I got involved in terms of like the rumors, but she knows na I didn’t have any part to it,” Kelley said.
She also shared that she was told that Carla was one of the judges and the actress was also told by her make-up artist that she would be the host of the pageant.
Kelley said that there was nothing wrong with that as she wanted to talk to Carla as well. the beauty queen-actress really wanted to clarify if ever she said or did something wrong while she was taping the sereis with Tom.
Kelly also stressed that she had no idea why her name was dragged into the breakup issue because most of the time, she shared scenes with Alden and not Tom. She also shared that the actor reached out to her before regarding this issue. Tom apologized to Kelley when the issue blew up.
