Actress Sarah Lahbati Posts Photos, Heartfelt Message for Alexa Gutierrez
SARAH LAHBATI – The actress mourns the death of her brother-in-law Elvis Gutierrez’s wife, Alexa Uichico-Gutierrez.
After months of battling leukemia since her diagnosis in January, Elvis Gutierrez’s wife, Alexandra Joelle Uichico-Gutierrez, passed away. Actress-beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez announced the death of her sister-in-law, Alexa.
It was shortly after their family’s Christmas and New Year vacation in Japan when Alexa Gutierrez was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She went through medication and treatments for months and Ruffa constantly sought prayers for the recovery of her sister-in-law.
Based on a comment of Annabelle Rama on Alexa Gutierrez’s previous post, she and Elvis Gutierrez were already living together in his parents’ house since they were boyfriend and girlfriend thus, the talent manager treats her like her very own daughter and is heartbroken over what happened to Alexa.
Elvis Gutierrez and Alexa Gutierrez were schoolmates. It was in 2015 when the long-time couple officially tied the knot. The actor and his non-showbiz wife were blessed with the lives of their daughters, Aria and Ezra.
Sadly, Aria lost the physical presence of her mother at 9 years old and Ezra at 7 years old following her recent death. The heartbroken Gutierrez family members are vocal in social media about their grief on the loss of Alexa.
