Heart Evangelista renewed her contract with the Kapuso network
Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista was emotional as she thanked her home network GMA during the contract signing event on July 29, 2024.
Heart started her career as an actress in ABS-CBN. She was a Kapamilya for more than a decade and did several TV shows and projects there under the management of Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano of Genesis Entertainment.
In 2008, after her contract with her former management ended, Heart signed a two-year contract with GMA and remained a Kapuso until now.
On Monday, Heart Evangelista renewed her contract with the Kapuso network. An extravagant contract signing event was prepared for her. Last year, the Kapuso network also prepared a contract signing event for her. The actress wore a queen-like white gown accentuated by an elegant necklace.
In her statement during the event, Heart expressed how thankful she is to GMA. The fashion icon said that she thanked everyone who was there at the event because they had been there for her through the hardest times.
She said that when she moved to GMA, she did not know what to offer. Hearing the praise and the statement from the bosses that she brings life to the network, Heart said that it was the other way around.
She said that when GMA accepted her and gave her one of her biggest contracts, she had not proven anything and she is very grateful for this. For her, she has gone far because of the people who helped her when she had nothing.
Heart also said that she learned so much from everyone she worked with in the Kapuso network. “What I have today is really truly because of the people who I started with,” she said.
The actress also said that she will never forget this and she wants to give back to her home network. Heart Evangelista is also grateful to GMA for letting her be herself and giving her wings to do whatever she wants.
