The stunt double of Kim Domingo answered her basher
Stuntwoman Kayley Carrigan, the stunt double of actress Kim Domingo in Batang Quiapo, received bashing online.
Kim is the newest addition to the cast of the Kapamilya primetime action-drama series. Her character was added after actress Ivana Alawi had to bid goodbye to her Bubbles character.
Kim had to do some action scenes and she had a stunt double. Based on the article in Bandera, Kayley, Kim’s stunt double was bashed on social media.
The stuntwoman shared a post on Facebook answering the negative comments she received. Kayley said that there was a post on an unknown page making fun of her looks. She said that there was a “haha” reaction to the fighting scene of Tanggol (Coco Martin) and Madonna (Kim Domingo).
Kayley said that she doubled Kim from the motorbike to the fight scene. She stressed that she does not dwell on bashing and negative comments that would affect her mental health. “I keep focusing on action work and myself to make me feel better physically and mentally,” she said.
The stuntwoman also reminded the public, especially the younger generation to think before making a comment online because they might not know that they are already hurting other people.
A day after Kayley shared that, she gave an update saying that the administrator of the page appeared to have deleted the post. She thanked the netizens who reported the post against her, as well as, the kind words from netizens who supported her.
Bandera entertainment writer Reggee Bonoan shared that they asked someone about Kayley Carrigan. Their source said, “Mabait ‘yan, magaling at propesyonal. Okay ‘yan makisama, kilala ‘yan si Kayley, marami na ‘yang dinobolan, isa na si Jane de Leon at Julia Montes.” The writer added that they wondered why Kim Domingo’s stunt double received bashing when she’s okay to work with.
