RR Enriquez Reacts To Jude Bacalso’s ‘restaurant drama’

Here’s RR Enriquez’ Reaction To Jude Bacalso’s ‘restaurant drama’

RR ENRIQUEZ – Sawsawera Queen RR Enriquez reacted to former tv host Jude Bacalso’s ‘sir’ incident in Cebu.

Over the past few days, a local incident at a Cebu establishment has escalated into a significant social media controversy, even drawing comments from showbiz personality Ogie Diaz.

The uproar began with a Facebook post by John Calderon, describing an event on July 21 at Ulli’s restaurant in Ayala Center Cebu. Calderon recounted that a waiter was compelled to stand before Jude Bacalso, a Cebu-based writer and former TV personality, for nearly two hours. After the encounter, Calderon claimed the waiter “broke down into tears.”

Cebu Daily News reported that Jude Bacalso addressed the viral post in a now-deleted Facebook post, describing the incident as a “series of errors” but denying she yelled at the waiter. She said it as an opportunity for education.

However, her explanation failed to appease the public anger sparked by the viral post, which spread beyond Cebu and prompted Ogie Diaz to comment that the waiter’s apology should have sufficed for Bacalso. On Monday, Bacalso issued another statement on Facebook, stating she had resolved the issue with the restaurant management and intended to apologize to the waiter involved.

In a recent online post, RR Enriquez addressed the controversy involving Jude Bacalso and a viral photo showing Bacalso with a waiter she was speaking to. RR praised Jude for clarifying the context of the photo and apologizing to the public after it went viral.

However, she questioned the necessity of Jude’s lecture to the waiter about pronouns.

There are always two sides to every story. It may have been a peaceful conversation for you and the waiter and you didn’t insist on making him stand while talking to him. But since you are the one who initiate na ilecture sya, you cannot blame people to think how rude you are.

Although it was so nice of you to admit your mistakes and appologize to public… my only concern is why educate someone about pronouns when gradeschool pa lang tayo tinuturo na yan sa atin. He is for men and She is for women. Yan ang alam ng lahat.

Although I get you, very offending naman kasi talaga na despite of you wearing a make up and dressed like a woman tapos tawagin ka pa din na Sir. But for someone na mas nakaka angat ng konti sa buhay why not just correct him right away and say call me Ma’am na lang Kuya. I prefer Ma’am instead of Sir.

Bakit kailangan mo pa gawin big deal to the point na ieducate mo pa for ilang minutes?
