The Senate’s Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms tried to locate Mayor Guo in all her registered addresses but found negative presence of the Mayor. The authorities also checked the garments factories of the suspended Mayor as well as her farm but they could not locate the Mayor.
Previously, amid a pending arrest order by the Senate, Mayor Alice Guo released a statement saying that she is ready to face the accusations against her if there is an evidence but “at a proper forum”. She also claimed that the lawmakers are fixated on her over the critical issues like poverty, food shortage, and national security which they must focus on.
