ABS-CBN got six nominations from the ContentAsia Awards 2024 and based on the list, these are the nominees from the Philippines.
There are 141 nominees for this year’s 2024 ContentAsia Awards and recently, the full list has been revealed. The categories this year include Best TV Drama Series for both local and regional audiences, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Original Game Show, Best Original Song, and Best Factual Entertainment Programme.
This award-giving body recognizes and celebrate premium video/TV content in Asia and the winners will be announced in Taipei on September 5. This will happen on the event of the 2024 Trendy Taipei music, arts, and innovation festival.
More than 500 entries from 13 countries and territories in Asia have been submitted and the nominees were selected by 77 jury members. The entries came from countries such as China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.
ABS-CBN got 6 nods. One of them is “A Very Good Girl” for Best Asian Feature Film/Telemovie. ABS-CBN artist Arjo Atayde was nominated for Best Male Lead in a TV Programme for his role in “Cattleya Killer” while “Linlang” stars Kim Chiu and Kaila Estrada were nominated.
The two “Linlang” actresses were nominated for the Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series and Best Supporting Actress in a TV Programme/Series category, respectively.
