Barbie Forteza talked about the start of her loveteam with David Licauco
Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza revealed her initial reaction to her loveteam with actor David Licauco known as BarDa.
Barbie and David’s onscreen partnership was unexpected. Because of their chemistry onscreen that was first seen in the series Maria Clara at Ibarra, they became and official loveteam.
However, the “kilig” that they are showing onscreen had to go through a process before it became an effective onscreen partnership.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Barbie Forteza admitted that she was not okay with David Licauco at first. She shared that she had to work for the friendship between her and her loveteam partner.
The actress said she had to establish the connection between her and David because initially, they did not click. She has been honest to everyone that at first, she is not okay with the actor.
“Kasi lagi siyang late,” the actress jokingly revealed about her loveteam partner. She added that she and David took it one step at a time because their loveteam was “very surprising and very unexpected.” They are thankful that their onscreen partnership became successful.
They had to get used to the fact that they would be working together everyday and the scenes they do have become sweeter. “So for two people na hindi naman close, ni hindi nag-uusap ‘di ba, tapos biglang ganu’n, mahirap po ‘yon,” the actress said.
Barbie Forteza also said that she and David Licauco have different work ethics and work routines. She also said that their loveteam was not in the right timing because it was unexpected. For her, it was more of a luck that was the reason behind the success of their onscreen partnership.
The actress also said that they are fortunate to be part of a very important series with a great impact on the audience and through that, their loveteam was picked up.
