Senior Citizen Who Refused to Lend Money Stabbed Eight Times

According to the investigation, the suspect visited the senior citizen’s house in Barangay Alingaya to borrow P2,000. When the elderly woman was unable to provide the loan, the suspect left.
However, a few hours later, she returned and invited the senior citizen to go for a walk up a nearby hill.
Once they reached a secluded area on the hill, the suspect attacked the senior citizen, stabbing her eight times. Despite the severe injuries, the elderly woman survived and is currently recovering in the hospital. Her condition is being closely monitored by medical professionals.
The police quickly apprehended the suspect, who is now facing charges of frustrated murder. The suspect has not given any statement regarding the attack.
The gruesome act has shocked the residents of Barangay Alingaya. Many are praying for the fast recovery of the victim and expressing their outrage over such a violent act. The incident has also raised concerns about the safety of elderly citizens in the area.
