In an interview after the pageant, based on the article in Inquirer, Myrna Esguerra was asked how she plans to spend the cash prize. She shared that for now, she is not yet sure how to spend the money.

The initial thing she wants to do is to enjoy her time with her family because she really misses them so much. She said that she would eventually think about the rest.

Meanwhile, Myrna also talked about her advocacy. She expressed desire to extend help to the World Vision Philippines.

When I found out that many, many Filipinos partnered with World Vision Philippines, I sponsored a child, his name is Summer, and I plan to do that with some more children,” the Bb. Pilipinas International 2024 said.

She said that it breaks her heart knowing that there are a lot of child labor cases in the country, as well as, the lack of support that many children experience. With this, she would be working with World Vision Philippines to help address this issue involving the children.

Myrna also shared that she is aware of the struggles of young people because she went through this kind of phase in her life as well. At the age of 17, she was already the one providing for her studies. She was also supporting the needs of her family.

Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) led by Chairperson Stella Marquez Araneta, who is the first crowned Miss International, granted World Vision Philippines with a P1-million cash donation, in line with the pageant organization’s 60th anniversary.
