Is it true that Ivana Alawi will bid goodbye to her character in ‘Batang Quiapo’?
Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi would be allegedly taken out of the primetime series Batang Quiapo because of her “attitude.”
Ivana is playing the character of Bubbles in the series led by primetime action star Coco Martin. When she was introduced as the love interest of the lead actor in the series, fans of Ivana got excited about this major break in her career.
However, a rumor recently surfaced that Ivana will soon end her stint in the Kapamilya primetime series.
Based on the article in Balita, during a recent episode of Cristy Ferminute, the showbiz talk show of veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin, she mentioned that Ivana Alawi already had her last shooting day.
“Nag-last shooting day na siya, last taping day na siya sa ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Shinonggal na si Ivana Alawi,” Cristy said, adding that it is okay to bid goodbye to a show as long as you leave a positive mark.
However, Cristy said that this is not what happened to Ivana. The veteran showbiz writer revealed that the actress was not amiable to people on the set of the series.
“Kaso, mga taga-production talaga ang nagsasabi na ito pala ‘pag dumarating walang pinapansin. Dire-diretso raw doon sa kaniyang waiting area,” Cristy said. Her co-host Romel Chika said that this is a bad thing because before vloggers or content creators like Ivana would do vlogs in order to catch the attention of the public and eventually will be given a big project.
“Ngayong nabigyan ng pagkakataon na….parang hindi sila nagiging masaya sa kinahihinatnan ng kanilang career,” Romel said.
Meanwhile, fans of Batang Quiapo are excited about the recent teaser that the series released. A new female character will be introduced and netizens guessed that it was Kapuso actress Kim Domingo.
