Actress-turned-entrepreneur Sam Pinto opens up about her life now and her massive and successful resort in Baler.
Among the Filipino celebrities who own a beach resort is Sam Pinto. Her surf resort is called L’Sirene and is situated in Brgy. Reserva in Baler. Her love for water activities and water itself fueled her to build this resort which she acquired years before her marriage.
In an interview with Karen Davila, she shared that this property came to her possession using all the money she got as a celebrity. She used up her savings from endorsements and various showbiz projects to build the resort. Initially, it was supposed to be a house but she realized that it is too big for this plan.
That is when she decided to make a resort out of it and share it with everyone. It is 3.5 hectare resort. The property has deluxe room, superior deluxe room, superior queen room, and executive queen room. Events such as wedding is also accommodated in this place.
It was also a win-win situation for her as this has been her end goal as she is aware that showbiz is not forever. She said, “Gusto ko tumira sa beach and then business ko na rin ‘di ba? It’s a win-win situation.”
This also made her husband now impressed by her as she started it way before meeting him. Sam is married to basketball player Anthony Semerad and they now have one child. They met in a concert and started dating. During the pandemic, they had an intimate wedding held at a hotel. They have been married for three years now.
She was, at first, fine with being alone but then, her husband came and changed everything about this perspective of hers. She felt it that he was the one and she now at her happiest with contentment in her life.
