Mugshot of Justin Timberlake Turned into Limited-Edition Art Piece at NY Gallery

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE – Mugshot of superstar Justin Timberlake turned into a limited-edition art piece at New York gallery.

Timberlake was arrested in New York on June 18 for driving while intoxicated, along with two citations: one for running a stop sign and another for failing to stay in his lane. According to Sag Harbor police, an officer observed the “Mirrors” singer driving his 2025 BMW through a stop sign shortly after midnight and failing to stay on the right side of the road.

“Upon investigation, it was determined that Mr Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition,” as per Agence France Presse (AFP) report.

Court documents also noted that the singer’s eyes were “bloodshot and glassy,” and he “performed poorly on all standard field sobriety tests,” according to CBS. He was arraigned and released later that morning.

A Page Six report mentioned that artist Godfrey Lohman created artwork based on Timberlake’s mugshot and brought it to the Romany Kramoris Gallery in Sag Harbor, which attracted “nonstop lines” of museumgoers eager to take photos of it.

Gallery employee Leslie Raff told the outlet, “[Timberlake’s mugshot] is our most contemporary piece! It’s au courant.”

The artwork, available in different colors, is priced at $520 (P30,000) each, and the gallery has sold “two or three” versions, according to the owner.

“A lot of people are coming back,” Kramoris said. The gallery plans to display the pieces throughout the rest of the summer.
