Search for Missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Candidate and Her Israeli Boyfriend Continues
MISSING MUTYA NG PILIPINAS CANDIDATE – The reward money for the case of the missing beauty queen and her Israeli boyfriend is up to Php 350K.
Last month, countless people were alarmed when news reports about a missing beauty queen crossed the surface. The said beauty queen is Geneva Lopez who went missing with her foreigner boyfriend, Israeli Yitshak Cohen.
The missing beauty queen is a Mutya ng Pilipinas candidate in Pampanga. It was last June 21, 2024 when Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend, Yitshak Cohen. disappeared. The last information that their family knew was that they were off to Tarlac.
According to the family of the beauty queen, Geneva and Yitshak were headed to Capas, Tarlac to check the lot pawned to her. Since then, there was no any update about the couple.
Previously, a burnt vehicle was found in Tarlac. The belongings of the missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga candidate was found inside the burnt car. However, until now, the couple could not be found.
A reward money is now up in the pursuit to locate where the beauty queen and her Israeli boyfriend are now. The family of Yitshak Cohen previously offered a Php 250,000 reward money for those who can give the details as to where the couple can be found.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with GMA Regional TV, Joe Cohen, the brother of the Israeli boyfriend of the beauty queen, said they offered reward for the safety of his brother and his fiance.
“Our assumption is they’re still alive. We did not have any address for anyone for ransom, so we are hoping they will actually contact us,” Joe said.
Recently SunStar Pampanga reported that the reward money for the missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga candidate and her Israeli boyfriend is now up to Php 350,000. Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. offered a Php 100,000 reward for anyone who can tell the whereabouts of the missing couple.
The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines is also in communication with the Philippine Government as per a report of TV Patrol. It is also liaising with the local authorities including the Philippine National Police over the matter.
“We have complete confidence in the PNP and Philippine government’s efforts to resolving this matter effectively, the Israel Embassy in PH said in a statement.
