Kris Aquino talked about his second son in this interview
Queen of all Media Kris Aquino said that she wants her second son Bimby to have a normal teenage life.
Kris has been in the industry for many years. Her career in showbiz started at a young age and from that, she kept on doing different projects until she had to take a break because of health issues.
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz recently had the chance to talk to the Queen of all Media. Ogie and Kris have been friends for many years already.
In the interview, Kris Aquino expressed that she wants her son Bimby, with her former husband James Yap, to have a normal teenage life. It is because she was not able to have this kind of life when she was young.
“I don’t want to repeat kay Bimb kung ano ‘yung pinagdaanan ko dahil I really did not have a teenage life,” Kris said. She was 15 years old when her mom Cory Aquino became the country’s president. Then, she entered the entertainment industry.
“Excited ako kasi dapat mabigyan na siya ng chance na lumabas with friends and barkada niya. Dapat may freedom na siya pumunta ng mall,” Kris said.
She shared that Bimby promised her that he would not go out partying in bars and clubs while he is in the Philippines. Kris said that this is okay for her as long as Bimby would not drink. “Same kami ng blood type so allergic kami sa inumin,” the showbiz personality said.
It has been two years since Kris started living in the US with her kids for her medical treatments. Her eldest son Josh already returned to the Philippines and she let her son Bimby be with his older brother. The youngest is also finishing his studies here.
Bimby shared that his mom told him that it was his time to have a normal high school life.
“He really has to go kasi kailangan niya magpa-interview doon sa schools. Tatlong schools pinagpipilian. He needs to go for a face-to-face. May exams siya to see kung anong aptitude niya, kung anong level. Posibleng pwede siyang ma-accelerate pa. I’m praying for that,” Kris Aquino shared.
Meanwhile, Kris also revealed that she now has a new boyfriend who is a doctor.
