Kapuso Actress Bea Alonzo’s Acting Hooks Netizens
BEA ALONZO – The Kapuso actress is trending on Twitter following her great acting in the pilot episode of the newest GMA-7 series “Widows’ War”.
In the Philippine entertainment industry, there are countless actors and actresses but there are those who made a mark in the field and manage to remain in the spotlight for decades now. Bea is one of them.
For several years, Bea Alonzo was under the ABS-CBN network. She did several television series that hooked countless viewers and the list includes Maging Sino Ka Man which aired from 2006 to 2008 and A Love To Last in 2017.
Bea’s phenomenal loveteam with John Lloyd Cruz is the favorite of countless people. Who would forget Basha and Popoy and their love story, right? The two (2) celebrities played the said roles in their hit movie, One More Chance.
One More Chance was a massive success. The viewers even called for the sequel of the hit 2007 film. In 2015, a sequel of the movie entitled A Second Chance was released.
After almost 19 years of being a Kapamilya, in January 2021, Bea Alonzo transferred to GMA-7 network. Undeniably, the said move of the A-list actress shocked a lot of people and sparked countless headlines.
With regards to the reason of transferring to another home network, the actress said that she is only following her heart. She cited the pandemic as the moment when she pondered on what is really in her heart that made her take the huge step.
Currently, under the Kapuso network, Bea Alonzo is starring a television series that just started airing — the Widows’ War. Bea is working with Jeric Gonzales, who spoke about her work ethics, and Carla Abellana among others in the said TV series.
While it has only aired its pilot episode last July 1, the TV series started big as it trended on X, formerly called Twitter. The Kapuso actress also went trending on social media.
Countless netizens were impressed by the acting of Bea Alonzo in the first episodes of Widows’ War. Many netizens stressed that it is undeniably that Bea is one of the great actresses of her generation. Several netizens were also impressed by the monologue dramatic acting of Bea when her character grieved for the loss of her father.
