Is Carla Abellana Ready To Cross Path with Tom Rodriguez?
CARLA ABELLANA – The Kapuso actress admitted that she does not see the need to have a small talk with Tom Rodriguez in case they will meet.
The breakup of Carla and Tom is one of the celebrity breakups that left countless hearts broken. The two celebrities married each other in 2021 but it was a short-lived marriage for them.
Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez were together for seven (7) years when they decided to officially tie the knot. Their wedding was held last October 23, 2021 but they separated in January 2022.
Before becoming real-life lovers, Carla and Tom were on-screen partners. They worked together in several projects including the television series My Destiny and My Husband’s Lover.
When Carla and Tom’s breakup was confirmed, several issues, rumors, and speculations surrounded their separation. There were rumors questioning the gender prefence of Tom Rodriguez and there are also rumors of infidelity on the part of the Kapuso actor.
Both Carla and Tom remained mum on the reason behind their breakup. After they separated, the Kapuso actor flew to the United States. He had a showbiz hiatus for two (2) years and it was just recently when Tom returned to the Philippines.
After their separation, Carla Abellana focused on herself. She learned a lot of things including making soap. Currently, she is doing a television series entitled Widow’s War. Now that Tom Rodriguez is back, is she ready in case she will cross path with her ex-husband?
Based on an article on Pep, Carla affirmed that she is ready in case she will cross path with Tom considering that they are under the same home network. She stressed that there is no need for a preparation for it but she does not see the need to greet or talk to him.
“Hindi naman. I don’t see the need na bumati, mag-small talk, mag-conversation,” the Kapuso actress said.
Carla Abellana stressed that she will not evade or hide in case she cross paths with Tom Rodriguez. But, she clarified that she won’t act like they’re friends. Based on the article, the actress revealed that she is also not ready to work with him.
“I don’t think I’m ready to work with him anytime soon. Kumbaga, rerespetuhin ko ang space niya, yung trabaho niya, yung buhay niya,” the actress said.
