Actress Heart Evangelista is a renowned global fashion icon and style influencer. She is heavily involved in the creation and conceptualization of her content, particularly her successful Instagram Reels, working closely with her supportive team.
Just recently, Heart revealed that her husband, Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero, not only knows about her daring social media posts but is also proud of her work.
In response to a question from Philstar.com during her launch as the new endorser for Avon’s intimate label, Heart discussed Chiz’s reaction to her provocative videos. She shared that Chiz was “super proud” and encouraged her to embrace the opportunity.
Heart expressed that she felt it was the right time to showcase her curves in an underwear commercial, something she might not have been comfortable with in her 20s. She emphasized that her journey through life had brought her to a place of confidence and pride in her achievements.
Heart Evangelista attributed her newfound confidence to maturity and life experiences, explaining that she had been much harder on herself when she was younger. As she grew older, she developed greater self-worth and self-love, which strengthened her self-confidence.
When asked if she would consider taking on daring roles in TV and film, Heart replied that it would depend on the script. She expressed willingness and confidence but emphasized the importance of a smart and enjoyable script.
“It depends. If for myself as a person, I am willing, I am confident about myself. But siguro it depends with the script.”
“Kung hindi s’ya smart and what a joy to do, at kung ikakatanda ko, ‘wag na lang!” the Kapuso star quipped.
Heart highlighted that her goal in sharing her videos was to empower other women and promote body positivity. She pointed out that in the fashion world, where she is considered petite, embracing one’s imperfections and being comfortable with them is what truly makes one shine.
