There’s no doubt that Heart Evangelista is one of the most consistent guests in many fashion events may it be in Milan, Paris, or New York. In the recent Milan Fashion Week, the brand’s event did not start until the Global Fashion Icon arrived.
According to her, the traffic in Milan is hectic and she almost missed the Vivetta show. She nearly gave up but shocked when upon arriving, they waited for her and did not start without her.
“I was so embarrassed because they waited for me,” she said. “I didn’t know, I was flattered that they waited.”
With this passion in what she does, she was previously named as one of the Top 20 Celebrities Globally for all Fashion & Sportswear Segments. Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis was also on this list.
She shared this in her latest vlog called “Back in Milan: Fashion Week, Reels, Drama, and more”. In the same video, she recalled how she started in fashion weeks before getting official invitations from famous brands.
According to her, she goes to the events “out of passion and love for fashion and creativity”. It wasn’t a job for her, it was pure passion. She willingly walked the hard route and she would feel guilty to take a seat for somebody else like the press.
Her efforts went on and her hard work was noticed. She was able to build a good relationship with international brands building her an impressive fashion portfolio. She became known as a “key opinion leader” or influencer in the fashion world.
“I truly want (the brands) to know who I am, and I don’t want to take anybody’s seat. This is the golden rule. I don’t mind being second or third (choice), as long as I’m invited as myself and I have a good relationship with the brand,” she said in her video.
