Beauty queen-actress Ruffa Gutierrez revealed the reaction of her mother Annabelle Rama when she announced her relationship.
After years of speculations, famous personality Ruffa Gutierrez finally confirmed that she and actor-politician Herbert Bautista are in a relationship. They have been dating for four years now and in the interview where she admitted this, she was with her two daughters Lorin and Venice.
Ruffa’s daughters are supportive of her love life. As per Lorin, she just wants happiness for her mother. She also saw their connection from the moment when her mother decided to continue her education through the help and encouragement from her current partner.
In the same interview, Lorin and Venice was included in Ruffa and Herbert’s first date. It was him who wanted them included because he wanted to meet them and he wanted to make them feel comfortable.
After announcing their relationship, the beauty queen-actress remained mum about their relationship. She revealed it in order not to keep it hidden. She wanted to keep it in private as it is her belief that something lasts if it is kept private.
Recently, she revealed her mother’s reaction about her relationship announcement. She expressed, “Everything’s good. I am enjoying my privacy. Even my mom was like ‘bakit ka nag-aannounce, magpapakasal ka na ba?’”
As much as we all know, her mother is always vocal about this aspect in her life but with the current, Annabelle maintained silence. She would always have something to say but not this time around, so far.
“But I think with my mom now, she thinks I’m old enough siguro naman noh, hindi na siya masyadong nagme-meddle. But she’s always gonna be my mom and she’s always gonna be outspoken,” Gutierrez said.
Furthering about speaking her mother’s stand on her relationship, she believes that she likes and appreciates the person she is dating now.
