Veteran Actress Nadia Montenegro Speaks on Relationship w/ Boy Asistio
NADIA MONTENEGRO – The veteran actress revealed her very important conversation with her late partner, Boy Asistio Jr., before he died.
In 2017, the partner of Nadia, former Caloocan Mayor Boy Asistio Jr., died. Countless messages of condolences and sympathies flooded for the veteran actress and her family. However, grieving his death, there is nothing that can totally ease their family’s pain then.
Nadia and Boy were together for 29 years in this lifetime. According to the veteran actress, she has a boyfriend then but he was so persistent in courting her that even her then-boyfriend might have felt intimidated.
The relationship of the veteran actress and the former Caloocan Mayor gave them seven children. Now, it is no secret to the public that her youngest daughter, Sophia, has a different father but Boy treated her like his own.
During a vlog interview with Julius Babao, the actress was even vocal that it was Boy who gave Sophia a name, loved her, and raised her. Nadia Montenegro also took swipe at the biological father of her youngest daughter saying that her intention in meeting her must be clear.
According to the veteran actress, as of now, Sophia is not interested in meeting her father. During the vlog interview, she also recalled her very important conversation with Boy before he died.
According to Nadia Montenegro, she and Boy Asistio have been through a lot but their relationship survived the challenges that came their way. She revealed that they had a two-hour talk and it is the most significant conversation that they ever had.
“Ang sinabi niya sa akin, ‘Ipaglaban mo sila. Lahat ng ibinilin ko sa inyo, inyo. At hanggang buhay ako, ako lang ang ama nila,” the veteran actress said.
During the vlog interview, Nadia said that she has seen Boy die several times as she witnessed him being revived seven times. He also had several heart attack in front of her.
“Ang dami nang nangyari sa buhay namin na hindi kami bumitaw sa isa’t isa,” she said.
During the burial of Boy, Nadia vowed that she will love him until her dying day. The veteran actress is visibly focusing on being a mother to her 8 children now.
