Announcement of Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga on Missing Candidate, Boyfriend
Mutya ng Pilipinas candidate Geneva Lopez of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga and her Israeli boyfriend, Yitshak Cohen, are reported missing.
Recently, countless people were left worried after Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga made an official post letting the public know that one of its candidates is missing. The said candidate is Geneva Sarita Lopez, 27, who is representing Sto. Tomas, Pampanga in the ongoing competition.
Aside from Mutya ng Pilipinas candidate Geneva Sarita Lopez, her Israeli boyfriend who was her companion on the day she was reported missing is also nowhere to be found. The couple was reported missing since June 21.
Both Geneva and her boyfriend are residents of Barangay Malabanias in Angeles City, Pampanga. The family had no communication with the couple since June 21.
Mutya ng Pilpinas Pampanga, on its official post, clarified that they had no official schedule of activities last June 21 when the couple was first reported missing. The event organizer said that the said date was allotted for the rest of the candidates.
The event organizer also assured that it is cooperating with the police authorities on the updates regarding the possible whereabouts of the Mutya ng Pilipinas candidate and her Israeli boyfriend.
Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga also called for the public for any information that may lead to the resolution of the case. Based on the post, the event organizer also asked for continued prayers for the safety of the couple who went currently missing.
Based on a report of TV Patrol Weekend, the Angeles City Police Office said that the families of Geneva Sarita Lopez were the ones who reported the disappearance of the 27-year-old candidate of the beauty pageant.
Reportedly, the family of the couple is still confirming if the car that was burnt in Capas, Tarlac belonged to the missing Mutya ng Pilipinas candidate and her Israeli boyfriend. According to the family of the couple, she told them that they will go to Capas, Tarlac to meet the people who pawned their lot to the couple in 2021.
