New Film of Xian Lim Kuman Thong Out in Cinemas Soon
XIAN LIM – The actor-director was no-show at the media conference of his new film, Kuman Thong, which will be out in cinemas soon.
Undeniably, Xian was the center of criticisms and bashing since his breakup with Kapamilya actress-TV host Kim Chiu. It was in November 2023 when the breakup of Kim and Xian was confirmed by the actress. She vowed not to talk about it anymore.
However, in several instances, Xian Lim reacted to the issues and rumors that earned him negative criticisms. The actor believes that he does not deserve what he is getting which are bashing and threats not only to him but to his family.
Xian Lim denied the viral steak issue. He also debunked the rumors that there was a third party in his breakup with Kim Chiu.
Both Xian and Kim kept the reason of their breakup private. A few months after their breakup, Xian confirmed that he’s dating Iris Lee, a film producer, whom he shares the same passion with. Visibly, the actor is now focused in making films.
Xian and Iris recently flew to Thailand to shot his new movie entitled Kuman Thong. It is a horror film which is set to be out in cinemas this July 3, 2024.
Amid the speculations and issues, Xian Lim also denied that he was reacting to the breakup issues as a sort of promotion for his new movie. It is his response to claims that he is just making noise for his new film.
Recently, based on an article on Pep, a media conference was held for the newest film of Xian Lim, Kuman Thong. However, the actor-director was reportedly no-show at the media conference.
When actress Cindy Miranda, the main star of the film, was asked about the absence of Xian at the media conference, she expressed that he might have a prior commitment. The mediacon was held at Viva Cafe in Cubao, Quezon City.
Cindy shared that Thailand was really having a hot weather when they filmed the movie there. Based on the article, the limited time was also a challenge to them as they have to be able to take the scenes right away or else they won’t be able to finish the movie.
Kuman Thong is a horror movie about a mother and her two (2) children. Cindy played the character of the mother and another challenge was the language barrier but she’s glad that their Thai lead actor, Max Nattapol, knows how to speak English.
