Fast-Food Customer Dismayed After Getting Hot Sauce Instead of Siopao Sauce
A customer was disappointed after the crew allegedly gave him hot sauce for the siopao he bought instead of the usual siopao sauce.
Recently, Peping Tapak, a Facebook user, shared a photo of the purchased siopao along with the hot sauce that came with it. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from netizens.
The customer posted his experience with a well-known fast-food chain, Chowking, located in Sta. Rita, Guagua. Alongside the siopao was a packet of hot sauce, which was mistakenly provided instead of the usual siopao sauce.
Tapak and his companions ordered six pieces of siopao for takeout. After waiting for nearly an hour, they finally received their order and headed home. Upon opening the siopao, they discovered that hot sauce had been included instead of the expected sweet siopao sauce.
The children were unable to eat the siopao, as they found the hot sauce too spicy.
The latter also waited so long for their order that the ice in their soft drinks and halo-halo melted before they even got their food.

Many netizens empathized with Tapak’s frustration, expressing their disbelief and disappointment over the mix-up.
However, according to some netizens, Chowking does not provide siopao sauce separately because the sauce is already inside the bun. If a customer asks for additional sauce, they will provide hot sauce.
