She fought to the very end. Sadly, yesterday at 10:45 AM, while in the ICU, our beloved Cj suffered two strokes, and finally became one with the Universe,” Wincy wrote in his post.

He also described CJ as a loving wife, a loving mother to their two cats, and a loving daughter to her parents and uncle. Wincy shared that CJ was very passionate when it came to her job as Executive Creative Director in the world of advertising. He added that his wife used her illustration and painting to champion causes close to her heart.

Wincy also mentioned CJ’s popularity back in the 90s as a gifted child in a commercial. However, he said that it was obvious that CJ was a gift to people because of the stories shared by hospital visitors and messages from people that he received.

“Behind that tough and take-charge person you may know is such a sweet, caring girl. I will always remember her for the kindness she brought to people,” he said.

CJ’s husband also shared that the “Gifted Child” wanted to have a simple funeral. She wanted it to be fun and not so serious. With this Wincy encourages the people to celebrate CJ’s 36 years with the things she loved – music, conversations, coffee, and good food.

He also shared the wake details:
