The official joint statement of the pair ended the speculations. Just recently, in an interview, Alonzo revealed one more thing about the split but did not divulge to the specific details.
Bea did not initiate the split and this was all she ever said. To clarify the speculations and persistent rumors, she honestly revealed that it was Dom who initiated it but they are now okay. The separation was amicable.

Dom wanted a Christian wedding and to achieve this, he wanted Bea to convert to being a Christian but this is something the Kapuso actress is not ready for. She was convinced yet to change her religion and for Dominic, Bea not agreeing to this may cause their split.
