Currently in Hong Kong is Alden Richards for the shooting of the much-awaited film.

Kapuso actor Alden Richards is now in Hong Kong for the shooting of “Hello, Love, Again”, his movie with Kathryn Bernardo.

After a long fervent wait, the love story of Joy and Ethan will finally continue. From “Hello, Love, Goodbye”, we finally get to say “Hello, Love, Again”! HLG is a 2019 blockbuster film starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.

The highly-successful 2019 movie’s sequel is called “Hello, Love, Again“. This will again be directed by blockbuster filmmaker Cathy Garcia Sampana. Some scenes are going to be shot in Canada and currently, Alden is in Hong Kong to shoot some.

On Instagram, the movie director shared a video of their arrival in the country saying this in the caption, “Dito na si Ethan!!”

Other cast members are also already there such as Jeffrey Tam and Joross Gamboa. More stars from the prequel are also expected to arrive soon which include Bernardo, Lovely Abella, Kakai Bautista, and Maymay Entrata.

“Hello, Love, Again” release date is on November 13 in the Philippines and international releases will follow. As much as we all know, HLG was the highest-grossing Philippine film of all time until January 2024. MMFF 2023 entry “Rewind” surpassed their record.

In the movie, Ethan and Joy were OFWs (Overseas Filipino Worker) in Hong Kong. Ethan was a bartender while Joy was a domestic helper. They started seeing each other with Ethan being the most persistent person in her life but their love story was cut short because Joy pursues her dream to become a nurse in Canada.

In the teaser of the upcoming film, Ethan and Joy meet again in Canada. This happened “after fighting for their love to conquer the time, distance, and a global shutdown that kept them apart”. Apart from the continuation of the love story, this film will also tell the story of OFWs in Canada.
