The local entertainment scene was buzzing after news about the wedding of celebrities Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon emerged online. It was an intimate event that was attended by people closest to their hearts.
Carlo and Charlie’s wedding was held at a private resort in Silang, Cavite, and it was a beautiful wedding indeed.
Before this wedding, Charlie was named as the Best Actress of Gawad Urian 2024. It was a back-toa-back feat for the actress who celebrated these big milestones in her life in just one weekend.
A week after it all happened, she finally spoke about it in an Instagram post and her words were nothing but radiating of so much happiness. She expressed her happiness over her Best Actress win and she also congratulated the other nominees and the team behind Third World Romance, the film that made her win the award.
About becoming a Mrs. Aquino officially, she is grateful for the people who were with them in this journey. As what she said in her wedding vows, she is proud of where they are now and what matters most is that they are surrounded with people who genuinely love them.
She’s definitely still on high from having these milestones. The movie that made her come home with the Best Actress trophy from the 2024 Gawad Urian Awards is the same film where she and her husband have starred to gether.
