Here’s Reason Why Ian Veneracion Never Courted Fellow Actors
IAN VENERACION – Timeless heartthrob Ian Veneracion finally revealed why he never courted fellow actors.
Ian Veneracion is considered one of the most attractive actors in the Philippine entertainment industry. Originally a matinee idol, he has successfully shifted to action roles. Despite his fame, he remains private about his family life.
The timeless heartthrob is married to Pam Gallardo, who is not in show business. The couple has three children: Deirdre, Tristan Draco, and Duccio, who have all been raised away from the spotlight.
Boy Abunda had an interview with Ian Veneracion on the show “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last Friday, June 7. One of the questions from the King of Talk to the guest celebrity was about dating, specifically why he never courted fellow actors.
“Kasi na-imagine ko kung gaano kahirap na maging serious relationship, you know, parehong artista because of the lack of privacy and stuff. So wala lang, hindi na ako nanligaw ng artista,” the celebrity dad responded.
Ian also happily shared stories about his father, Roy Veneracion. According to the veteran actor, his father always had time for him.
“Anytime pupunta ako sa kanya. Never siyang magsasabi na ‘don’t bother me’ or ‘I’m busy.’ No. He’s very accommodating. Growing up maaga kong na-realize, compared to my classmates, I was so lucky because my dad was at home everyday. I can play with him anytime, I can talk to him anytime because he was a painter. He’s still a painter, everyday he paints. That’s his life talaga.
“Kapag makulit lang ako, bibigyan niya ako ng canvass and give me a brush and some paint so I could paint while he’s painting. And I appreciate all those things, ‘yung availability niya,” he shared.
Ian further mentioned that, like his father, he always makes time for his children.
He continued, “I actually enjoy it also kasi hindi ako napipilitan. I actually enjoy it. And also, kung kunwari may ginagawa lang ako, I have to find a nice way to say, ‘Okay, I’m interested in what you’re saying, but let me just finish this so that I can give you my full attention. If that’s okay’”
Ian added that he learned this kind of response from his eldest child, Tristan Draco.
