Dina Bonnevie Saw Her Own Body in Hospital Bed
DINA BONNEVIE – The veteran actress revealed the details of hear near death experience and the reason why she hid it before.
The lives of the celebrities who entered the Philippine entertainment industry at a young age and remain even after they are in their 50s or 60s are like an open book. Many of the things that have happened in their lives are known to the public. However, no matter how popular they are, they also got experiences they have yet to share or just shared after several years.
In the case of veteran actress Dina Bonnevie, the public knows some of the biggest things in her life including her separation with Vic Sotto. Their marriage which lasted for around 10 years on paper was blessed with two (2) children — Danica and Oyo Boy.
Meanwhile, the veteran actress is vocal of having forgiven her ex-husband. Dina was even vocal about the reason that Vic allegedly told her for having an affair with another woman which happened to be Coney Reyes.
Dina Bonnevie was vocal that she initially thought of her possible incapabilities why Vic Sotto committed infidelity in their marriage. Meanwhile, after years have passed, she realized that it was probably the connection between him and Coney that made him commit to an affair with another woman outside his marriage with her.
Both Vic and Dina have their own partners now. She is married to Department of Agriculture Undersecretary DV Savellano. Danica and Oyo Boy have good relationships to both of their parents despite the separation.
Recently, talking to Amy Austria, Dina Bonnevie revealed one experience of hers that many people do not know — her near death experience. According to the veteran actress, it happened when she was 23 years old.
According to Dina, she attended the show of Alma Moreno then and she was allergic to the fume of the smoke machine during their production number. She was promoting a project then and she had busy schedules.
When she started not feeling well, she told Danica to call her sister, Danica’s aunt. However, on the way to the hospital, the actress already lost her vision and she could no longer breathe but she can hear the people around.
Dina Bonnevie further shared that the next thing that happened was she can hear people shouting and then there was a total silence. After it, she saw her sister and tried to tap her but she could not.
“Nagulat ako, lumampas ‘yung kamay ko, bakit hindi ko siya mahawakan. Pag tingin ko sa monitor, may [flat line] tapos [umiiyak] na kapatid ko,” the actress said.
According to Dina, she saw her body at the hospital bed with a silver cord attached to her navel. She got scared. She also found herself going out from a long tunnel and, upon her exit, she felt “pure peacefulness and calmness”.
During the interview, Dina Bonnevie shared that she saw everything that happened to her life including her separation. According to her, it was only after she asked to speak with Danica that she was able to return to life.
The veteran actress shared that she hid it before as she does not want to be labeled crazy if she says it.
